The Fiery Shadow; El Shaddoll Grystal

As I read the spoilers for V Jump July 2014 edition, my eyes stumbled at one card that is listed as one of the spoilers for the issue. It's none other than the new fusion monster of the infamous Shadoll archtype: the El Shadoll Grystal.

at first I thought that he (or she??) is some kind of Fairy type monster lol, it
doesn't really resemble a Shadoll monster until I notice the strings on his back :p

The effect for El-Shadoll Grystal itself hasn't yet to be translated and uploaded officially into yugioh.wikia.com, but according to the source site The Organization, here's the following card details and effect:

El Shadoll Grystal
7 FIRE Rock-Type Fusion Effect Monster
ATK 2450
DEF 1950
1 “Shadoll” monster + 1 FIRE monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned. You can only use the (1) effect of “El Shadoll Egrysta” once per turn. (1) When your opponent Special Summons a monster: Negate that Summon, and if you do, destroy it. Then, send 1 “Shadoll” card from your hand to the Graveyard. (2) If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Shadoll” Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.

The Princess and the Djinns

Dragon/ Ritual/ Effect
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Hymn of Blessing". You can only use the effect of "Saphira the Dragon Princess" once per turn. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Ritual Summoned, OR during the End Phase of the turn a LIGHT monster was sent from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard while you controlled this face-up card: You can activate 1 of these effects.
Draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card.
● Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand.
Add 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

In a glance, Saphira the Dragon Princess is nothing special. She doesn't have any destructive effects such as Judgment Dragon or Scrap Dragon's, nor the potential to flood the field with an endless wave of specially summoned monster like Burei/do's. Her attack power is also just the standard 2500--which means that attacks from monsters such as Crimson Blader ,Felgrand or even Utopia will be sufficient knock her out of the field. In addition, as a ritual monster, she requires a lot of cards to be summoned, and as we all know, ritual engine consumes a massive space in the deck.

So what makes this monster so special?

Card tips: Moonlight Rose Dragon

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Special Summoned, OR when a Level 5 or higher monster is Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field face-up: Target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; return that target to the hand. You can only use the effect of "Moonlight Rose Dragon" once per turn.

Moonlight Rose Dragon was released as a part of the YGO 5ds comic book as one of the promo synchro monsters. However, it is rather unique compared to the other promo synchro monsters which were also released for the same comic book, where their effects are relatively similar to their counterparts'. For example; both Stardust Spark Dragon and its predating counterpart, Stardust Dragon, have protective effects which would prevent destruction. Or Hot Red Dragon Archfiend, which share the similar effect that involve the destruction of face-up attack position monsters with its counterpart, the Red Dragon Archfiend. In Moonlight Rose Dragon's case,

End the game with a BANG!

This article is still related to the previous post where rank-8 monsters are going to be the player's spearheads. However, this time it's going to be focused on how Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon can land a successful HIT, and how the player could flood the field with multiple Felgrands and Atums in just couple of turns. The engine that we are going to use consists of two archetype: Hieratics and obviously, Galaxy.

Galaxy Storm!! 3 Cards to rule the field!!

"Galaxy" archetype is a series of cards which centered on summoning huge and powerful monster, using their support spell and trap cards as booster to hasten the summoning process. The archetype also shares a synergy with the "Photons", another type of decks which can be very supportive for "Galaxy" combos.

Prior to the release of Primal Origin, "Galaxy" has been focused on summoning rank 8 monsters such as Galaxy-eyes Tachyon Dragon or Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. These monsters are powerful in terms of attacking power; however, they are lacking in defense and protective effects. If the player fails to achieve an OTK situation, and the opponent managed to destroy these monsters, the galaxy players are guaranteed to have difficult times keeping up with the dueling pace. Although the recently released Felgrand the Divine Dragon Knight could provide additional defense, most players still find it difficult to construct a deck which balances in terms of offense and defense.

With the new support monsters from Primal Origin, "Galaxy" decks are now capable of much more variation of combos as it is now able to summon rank 5 monsters quickly as well. Their main support for the set is Galaxy Soldier:
GalaxySoldier-PRIO-JP-SR
You can send 1 other LIGHT monster from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand in face-up Defense Position. When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Galaxy" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Galaxy Soldier" once per turn.

This card is a beast, and definitely one of the best support ever received by the archetype in my opinion, as its versatility enables the player to create a highly aggressive condition which focused on the offensive, or took a more defensive option by summoning monsters which specialize in field controls. All of the conditions can be easily fulfilled during the first turn, as it requires only two cards in hand beside Galaxy Soldier itself. Those cards are:
